As a visual artist, feeling is the through-line. Everything he makes is designed to be felt - the sounds, the edits, the sculpture. The medium changes but the intention doesn't. Justin began his journey early as a musician in Chicago, where he learned the nuances of emotion and storytelling - foundational skills that were pivotal in his transition to visual arts. Attending Howard University, he studied radio & film production while remaining active musically with touring and studio work. His work draws on the senses, translating our visual and auditory experiences into emotion. The origin story of someone who feels so deeply eventually leads him to design art you have to touch with your hands. His tactile art, utilizing braille, carries an objective that focuses on accessibility in the blind community. His artistry has allowed him to work with Nike, Netflix, Fear of God/Adidas, The Oprah Podcast, Stevie Wonder, Chandler Moore and others.
